Further info - mystery plug is a switched 12v source! I used it to power a inexpensive Carplay unit by wiring it to a cigarette lighter type female connector.

Air duct install - Help

Some how during my r&R of thew dash, the drivers side footwell air duct came dislodged. I have been unable to reseat it! Has anyone had any experience in reinstalling this?

As for the Blower motor replacement - Its a lot of work but also pricey to have done! I had an estimate for a good indie shop for $1700...

I have a 2003 X5 3.0 with 163,000 miles. When cold it will not move in drive, after a 10 min warm-up, it drives and shifts like a new car! Looking or suggestions
