If you want to play DVD's on the iDrive then you need to buy the LCI X5, late 2010 -2011 model, you can pick it by the extra buttons around the controller knob, then recode it to play while in motion.

When it comes to resale, there are two X5's on the lot, one with AD, one without. (now you know you don't get much extra on a trade even if your car has extra options)...

Your 35d is a far better X5 than the 35i model;)

It would not be anymore than 9-15lbs, the shocks are alittle heavier, the swaybars being electronic/hydraulic would weigh 2-4lbs more each, plus wiring, sensors etc.

If your worried about weight & performance drop back to 19"...

It can be done its not to hard to do, its whether you want to spend the dollars?
