Many times. The Mk IV is easy, burn the disk from it's ISO image (don't just copy the files on to the disk) slowly on good quality media, stick it in the Nav drive, wait a few minutes, job done.

DSP 'generally' is only an issue for 2002 or earlier cars, they have a Digital audio input from the CD Changer so you need an A-D converter if you want to use any of the CD Changer replacement...
