Thanks so much palbay!! I don't think those wheels look that nice for the M. I thought they would be a lot more aggressive.

I'd like to see some real large agressive wheels on the M - that's gonna be nice.

But then large wheels - having a lighter weight aspect (because its a performance vehicle) and then load ratings etc, cos of the size, its not always easy to get everything in a wheel....but if BMW can make it work, or come v.close - then thats gonna be great...

Oh and you're welcome Palbay..

I like the wheels...simple, yet, poignant. Looks like typical ///M performance wheels. Most importantly, they don't seem complicated to clean...I have a hunch they'll grow on me... :D ...

They kind of look like m6 wheels to me. They might grow on me just like the e70 did.

Hey, thanks for getting and posting the video. I like the sound.

Palbay...

I stripped the audio (what was hear-able) and imported into an audio program to compare against the V8 TT in the X6 50i just to see if i could distinguish a difference. No luck...they sound very similar. Only difference was drone-sound on X6 ///M...possibly when driver let-off throttle...:dunno: ...

I'm sure the sound must be worlds apart in-person. Anyhoo we've waited this long...a few more months won't hurt to witness the real thing in action. I assume that if the TTV8 can clock 4.8sec in 0-60 then the ///M's will leave competitors eating Bavarian tailpipe!

Oh and thanks for your fantastic work Agent 00P! :D

Your welcome.....and WOW....that's some serious analysis!!! Maybe BMW has tuned the X"M"'s to sound a little like V10's as a bone to the M fans who really wanted the M5 V10 in the X"M"'s:dunno: I'm working on getting better quality audio. Thanks! PalBay

Hey,
new to the forum.
I just bought a 2009 x5 4.8l M Sport today. I was told by my dealer that the X5 wouldn't change until 2011, other than the iDrive and a few minor things? I tried waiting for the new iDrive X5, but the wait was getting to long so I closed the deal. Anyone know when this TT X5 comes out? 2010?
