I wonder whether sour economy will affect the planned launch date for X5M.... as well as other new models. You are now hearing about the automotive companies delaying the new products almost on a daily basis.

Those X "M"'s are going to be awesome rides.I know the economy is in the toilet...but hopefully there is a few buyers out there.I'm sure BMW will control production of the X "M"'s even tighter than the X6 production.They will probably be hard to get...even if you want one.The engine rumble is crazy....I think ViperFreak mentioned the insane exhaust note.I wish I could get a clip as they drive through the parking lot......makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck if your a car nut.To the dismay of the purist...I think the X "M"'s will uphold the "MotorSport" tradition just fine!!! Thanks for the link topgear66. Can't wait for the x5 M to be released and I hope it has enough power to out perform the ml63 amg and cayenne turbo s.

I can't believe they are saying just 400hp for right now. Will the assumed 500hp be enough to compete with the Cayenne Turbo S @ 550hp?

0-60 will be better than Cayenne turbo S and it will have the highest HP of any BMW ever.
