Would you trade a 2008 M5 for the new X5M? I'm debating...

I wouldn't...I love the transmission of the M5 and just the overall profile/handling. Already planning my order and pick up of my next e60 M5 next April.

You're going to take a bath on the value of the 2008 M5. Then you're going to take another bath driving a 2010 X5M off the lot.

Though in my opinion, I would much rather have a X5 version of the M than a sedan version. It's just a more comfortable/practical everyday car.

If I was tracking however, I would keep the sedan.
