Red means not connected. Nothing lit up means it's connected. Green means you are in a call.
If you don't see bmwxxxx, I suggest you get the car scanned with a gt1, and get the codes for the module. |
And you can also rename the module and change the 4 digit pin code via PA soft.
|
easy fix........turn your car off ,go and unplug the module from the harnest and reconnect,go turn the car on ,turn on your screen and see 'telephone'turn on the phone hit 'settings' and then blue tooth, should see bmw, pair it ,enter your pin from the manual . and that should do it..................

No it does not. Scan with gt1, computer will know if the module is there, and what the malfunction is. Now sure what BMW scanner is capable of.

It shows on the scanner. It says unit in MTS mode. Not sure what that is. I have tried to reset nothing |

And you may want to edit your signature because you have a 2001 X4 listed...which means either the model year is wrong or the model is wrong. There was no X4 back in 2001. :) |

Nope. My car is a 2006 4.8is. The 2001 "X4" was sold years ago. |
