Yes. Or, do like I did (though Avin doesn't provide a cable for it) and tap into one of the antennas in the center console. It's located on the left hand side about half way down the console. I believe it was originally for the factory phone connection in the armrest area but is serviceable as a radial for the AM/FM. At least it was for my installation. :D

I found that connector in the console (circled in first picture below), but it was the same style as the one coming from the new head unit. Both are female/female or male/male type.
After a ton of searching for info on the antenna situation and mistakenly tearing apart the left side of the luggage area, I finally discovered that the AVIN-supplied antenna cable plugs into the antenna supply line going into the OEM radio unit. (second pic) This is the best option, since it makes use of all the crazy tech that BMW installed for simple radio signal reception. I'm lookin' at you, diversity antenna, signal amplifier, trap circuit and AM/FM1/FM2/FM3 separate antennas!!
