The upcharge for mileage in excess of 50,000 is unfortunately legitimate. BMW charges the dealer more, so it will cost you more as well.

Whether you want to go with a non-BMW extended warranty is of course up to you.

Im thinking if my car does not sell by the time i have to leave,i would definetly buy an aftermarket warranty for my 4.8is.
Who here has gotten a warranty for their 4.8is,and how much did you pay?I'am at 72000 miles right now.

Just talked to Santa Monica BMW's Finance Manager.
Quoted me 1950 For 1 Year or 12000 miles.
my car is a 2005 4.8is with 72500 miles
