Replaced front struts, mounts and springs; drivers side was actually broken. Bought a new style spring compressor, made life much easier.

FWIW, I have the G2's and I've put about 5k on them with no issues. Can't help with the noise concern as I have a custom Corsa exhaust.

I'm in the middle of a desert so a tire for hot weather is pretty much mandatory (120f-135f) air temps.

I gave up waiting for NT555G2'S or Invo and Perrielli Pzero's were another 1-2 weeks wait.

Said the hell with it and just got some Dunlop sport maxx 050+[emoji849]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b1ec659b90.jpg

You're not kidding. Awhile back I posted a video of a dove that WALKED up to me and waited for me to pour water on him.

With these new shoes the X stops even faster and now I have a real fear of taking a PoS hoopty in the ass when I get into the binders. [emoji47]

Changed my cracked intake elbow and started working on repairing/repainting my wheels.

Currently on a 3,000 mile adventure with the X5 and the Mrs. Left Charlotte last week for round 4 of our IMSA LMP3 series at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Mosport, Canada. Spent a few days in Toronto and then finishing up the week in Niagara Falls. The black beauty has performed flawlessly and really enjoying the long drive.

Enjoy!!! Looks like a great time, even if it's a work trip. What type of highway mileage is the X5 giving you? I'm always curious because I track it for our vehicles on every fill up.

I can't wait to travel with the wife again after the kids get older. Still quite a few years away though. :(

https://www.e46fanatics.com/forum/im...ilies/iono.gif I never reset the average MPG before I left. I will reset it when we start heading home and let you know.

As far as being work trip, I am always amazed I get paid to race cars. Worse ways to make a living I suppose...
