Took a bit of digging, but found the correct tensioner for the supercharger & replaced that. Also unloaded a second can of seafoam into the intake. When I purchased it in December, the blower seal was bad allowing oil blow-by through the throttle body - so I've been trying to clear that out. Runs great above 800 RPMs, sputters a bit now. I think I'll be needing to replace the plugs from the oil issue - which requires pulling the super charger due to the tensioner rod covering the access panel on the passenger side.
I also replaced the engine TCG tensioner, the OE version was still in with the much shorter spring. Starts smooth now. Next up - figure out AC issue (cold on left vent, progressively warmer as you go to passenger side) And figure out the sputtering issue... perhaps plugs and gaskets are next. PO replaced the coils, so thats one less thing. |

Spent about 1/2 a day yesterday with the Doctor Colorchip kit. Works ok. Covers really small chips better than larger. It makes the larger ones look better, but they definitely don't go away. I had four especially large and deep chips. One on the hood from a big rock and three door dings from assholes that don't know how to open a car door.

Put about 440 miles on Red on Tuesday. Hit the below milestone about 65 miles from home. Got 18.35mpg according to Fuellog, filled up before leaving town and when pulling back into town at the same gas station. Not bad considering there was about 350lbs of wheels and tires in the vehicle plus my 250lbs (I need to follow Prop's lead :().

What's fuellog.
What did the vehicle say your mileage was compared to fuellog? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
