WTB E53 5 or 6 spd

New member here. I am currently looking for an E53 in 5 or 6 speed manual. Winter package (heated seats) is a must. Preferably post 2001 (so that it has the updated X drive system).

Let me know if anyone is interested in selling one.

I am in Wi but willing to travel to MN, IL, IA, MI etc

Oh my word!
This is such an awesome example, but sadly far out of my budget. I should have mentioned it earlier, my lowly budget is not more than $5000, perhaps $6000.

I understand that won't be enough to buy the best ones out there, but hopefully I can still fine a decent example.
I am not averse to the idea of taking care of the most common issues myself, so if some one has one that isn't in the best shape mechanically, I would still be interested

New member here with one more for the list: my 3.0d 2005 manual 6 speed 140k. New clutch and dual fly mass at about 130k - drives like a dream now but currently trying to solve battery drain. After that's solved l fit new jl audio amp and speakers, 9" android unit and some wrap for the interior!

Hey everyone, I'm the owner of a 2004 6mt. Have been driving the car for a while now, and these really are great cars. It's a shame you can't get a proper gearbox in any newer cars.

Been lurking here for years, but thought I'd finally say hi.
