NCS Expert is not compatible with 64 bits. How did you manage to get it working. That's the only one I couldn't get it to work on 64bit OS.

I didn't have any problem installing the program on 64bit. The only issue that I had was because I didn't turn off my virus protection when I was configuring the COM port. Here is a picture of NCSExpert and my window system. I was not connected to the vehicle for this picture.

Ive encoutered that problem and posted before and, nor was i able to make it work through virtual box


Maybe win 8 is better?

How did you install NCSExpert? Did you followed the DIY instruction here?

Yeah i followed a diy, it was a pdf or something. ill delete all my old things and try everything all over when i get the cable and software from the Romanian guy.

WHats the latest version of SP daten?
i found a 10.2gb V46 does that makes sense?
and ive found a nother one from a mini forum thats only 600 Megabytes.....

The 10GB version most likely also contains daten for nearly every BMW model.

Ok cool, im still learnign the ropes. anyway whats the name of what some of us have on our X5, you turn the key and it starts automatically you dont have to hold the key for the starter to keep spinnign? Auto start? but thats something else i think.

I was wondeing what the name was so that i could enable it in my friends e39 540i manual. Because it was diabled on manual cars for saftey.

I read the first 12 pages of this and then stopped as this question was asked a few times with no answer back then, but does anyone know now where/how to enable/activate the1 press on the signal stalk to get the signal lights to blink 3 times?
is it possible?

DAMN, I just started reading from pg 27 back and just noticed a bunch of ppl saying it is NOT a line to code, therefore the hand is the only way to do it.
OR buy/install the Kahtec lane change device by installing it by the LCM.
