I can try that later on this evening and report back, no problem, sorry I've been meaning to test this.

In the meantime, calling NCSExpert users:

Can you look into the LCM programming file to see what lines come out with "NSL" for rear fog lights, and paste them here, if possible translated using NCSDummy so I can see what they mean? I have my rear fogs wired up but they do not light up so I am thinking there is a line to activate them...

Wow, keep forgetting to update this. Yes there is a line for rear fog lights. And they were active on mine from the factory.

I'll try to remember to boot up my laptop in garage and get my list from there.

Thanks Denis,

I'm fairly certain there is a line which is active, I think there may be an additional line needing to be changed in order to get them working however.

UPDATE 6/10/13:

Change NSL_US_OPTION (or something close to that verbiage) to "nicht_aktiv" and you will have factory operating rear fogs from pins 10 and 12 of the trailer harness, no trailer module necessary!

Has anyone found how to get to the settings for lane change blinking? In the E46 and E39, the GM3 has the "CYCL_TI_BLK" parameter, but I can't find it anywhere in my GM3 or even LCM. Am I just out of luck?

May I suggest something?

Is there a way to make the final list, as we know it today, into a sticky?

That would be a tremendous help for those of us just starting into coding the car!

Thank you!

not an available option in our LCM

I've had to accept that fact, so I've spent the last 2 days programming the middle finger of my left hand to do the same job. Still has a few glitches, but I may have it debugged by the weekend...

Gentlemen, please bear with me, I am new to all this. Today, I managed to program my 2005 X5 3.0d to lock its doors when I start driving it (I think it locks the dors above 20km) and I also managed to have it blink twice at me, when I unlock it!!! So pleased with it.

Now, I need to do a couple more things, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

1. Locking is fine, but how on earth do I make it to unlock the doors, when I switch off the engine? I assume there is a parameter for that, somewhere, but I haven't a clue what it is. Could someone tell me what that parameter is, and in which module?

2. I would like to have the driver's seat move to its predefined position, depending on the key used to unlock the car. Again, any one knows which module I should edit and which parameter?
