Now, I need to do a couple more things, so any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

1. Locking is fine, but how on earth do I make it to unlock the doors, when I switch off the engine? I assume there is a parameter for that, somewhere, but I haven't a clue what it is. Could someone tell me what that parameter is, and in which module? <--feature not supported, not in the E53. I don't know about E83 however.

2. I would like to have the driver's seat move to its predefined position, depending on the key used to unlock the car. Again, any one knows which module I should edit and which parameter?<--Car/Key Memory function

I enable #2 with SSSProgmanV32 so I do not have exact parameter in NCSExpert. If I were you, I would read the GM with NCSExpert and use NCSDummies to find the parameter. NCSDummies can be download in bimmerforums/Diagnostic Software section.
If you're not sure how, email me your TRC file and I will try to find the parameter for you.

not an available option in our LCM

I've had to accept that fact, so I've spent the last 2 days programming the middle finger of my left hand to do the same job. Still has a few glitches, but I may have it debugged by the weekend...

Our generation BMWs do have a lane change feature on our turn indicators...but instead of the "press & release" activation like on the new generation (MOST BUS) BMWs...ours is the decades old gentle "press & hold" of the turn indicator. If you press & hold the turn indicator instead of pushing it all the way into the detent (for a dedicated turn) the blinkers will flash as long as the turn indicator is held...then you release the handle after changing lanes and the flashing stops.

Again, don't press/push the turn indicator past the detent that keeps the indicators flashing while you release the handle. This is the lane change feature on our generation BMW. :)

(see "Signaling Briefly" in the pic from owners manual below)

do a google search and/or forum search for eLight module - it is a microprocessor, from a company in germany, that allows you to do just that - unlock the doors with key out and some other things... a bit pricey, though...

Yes, I've found these products. For what I want, I do not think it is worth it. But thank you anyway!

Denis you can update your coding list when you get a chance, I got this coded yesterday and along with the hardwiring of the rear fog lights to their respective wires from the Trailer harness that is in our trunks, I now have factory operating rear fog lights:

NSL_AH_US_OPTION - set to "nicht_aktiv"

Term, were you able to get your AE's to function as DRLs? If not, I will be joining you in your search for the line of code. Just got my coding gear last night.

the AE a la DRL is on a back burner - i was busy running the power inverters for 110 V under the seats, got the rear fogs working (thanks to RickyBobby, his help and motivation kept me moving), and i am sourcing things for the on-board 8-channel DVR - just found an audio/video/power cable, which i am going to order...

and with the AEs - i have LED housings that I was going to experiment with different LEDs to see if that will be any better...

If you find the coding, it will be great!!!

You have been busy sir. For the AEs, there has to be code for it. I have been looking at these: (What do you think)
TAGFAHRLICHT_ECE : Daytime running lights(ECE)[angle eyes]
TAGFAHRLICHT_DAN :

Not sure about them. I have been on Google Translate most of the morning. Can't wait to get out of work to go try coding.

Anyone in CT or MA that can do some coding for me? Obviously will pay you for your time.

If no one around then let me know I can do it remotely and I can ship my cable also.
