imho...i don't understand all the fuss about the microsite. It doesn't contain anything we haven't discovered within the past week...and for some of us within the last year.

Also, i agree with LeMansX5 regarding the quality of the pics. However, for me, there's no disappointment whatsoever. I believe the niche market the X ///M's are targeting, have been patiently awaiting for years...from the Le Mans concept, to all the internet rumors, to spy pics...finally, a tangible manifest! For me personally, just the fact that it now exists will suffice... ...

Back of the X5M reminds me my previous 4.4i E53 with OEM chrome exhausts. They are alike.. =)

I think the X5 M concept is great, but, as I use a X5 as a DD and tend to order a new one every 12-15 months and because of the klm's I do per week, for me a 550hp DD is out.

I mean I do 600klm a week, 30klm a week actually driving on the beach to the beach house, 270klm freeway and 300klm city heavy traffic driving but man I would love one. I will have to stick to the M3 & AMG for toys & weekend driving when I am home. My wife is just not going to let me have that beast parked in the garage just sitting there!

I agree about the looks. Reminds me of the E53 a great deal especially after seeing those videos. I personally am not a fan of those twin exhausts on a large truck (hell I don't like the weak circular exhausts I have). Like I mentioned somewhere earlier, I hoped they would do something better on a larger vehicle than the typical M exhausts. Don't shoot me, but something in the spirit of the slanted Lexus exhausts would work well here in my opinion. They may have either kept it for tradition or didn't want to invest the time.

I'll take x6 M wheels on my x5 M please...

In Alpine White, Imola Red or whatever deep blue that is.

I'll have to wait about 36 months to afford a CPO'd truck, woops SAV, off-lease...

=/

OK, for the past hour, I've gotten zero work done....I am scrollling through X5//M pics in a surreal stupor....I can't.... I can't concentrate on anything else except those photos and the official specs....Is this what those poets of old called "Love"?

I prefer the simple/traditional quad exhausts, but I'm biased
