Anybody have a guess as to how the X5 ///M will lease when it first hits the showroom floors?

Do you think it will have a reasonable money factor? Also, do you think they will sell at MSRP? Premium? Discount?

6) Space Saver Spare - What is that? That's an option?
7) Satellite Radio - Yes please

1. Heated front seats are standard. This is for heated rear seats, ski bag and heated steering wheel.
2. Sunshades and 4 zone climate control.
5. rear view camera w/top view, high beam assistant, and heads up display.

I'm pretty sure this won't happen, but I'd like to see them offer a matte black finish for the X6 M like they have for the Lambo Reventon. I've seen a M5 in matte black and it looks pretty sick with black rims.

I have seen MANY x5's and other BMW's in matte black and 1 in matte white. It looks very nice, but is very hard to keep clean. I was going to do it to my X, but changed my mind later.

You could go to foilacar.com and see different matte black cars.

BTW, the Reventon is gray, not black.

IMO, to me, you people are lucky. Everyone in the Middle East (Dubai) is paying about $85k+ USD for the current X5 4.8 and I paid $125,000 USD for mine.

That will put the X5 M base at about $115k and loaded probably at $140k for us.
Then if you want to be the select few in the world to get it early, about $175k+.

You're right. I just looked at the Robb Report issue that test drove the Reventon and it says appears dark green or gray, depending on the light. I just thought the grayish look was because of the little light that bounces off the matte finish (or as they call it, the "mid-opaque" finish).

As for the getting that paint finish on the Xs, I guess I should clarify that it would be nice if it came from the factory as opposed to having it done at a paint shop. And I can't imagine it being harder to keep clean than piano black gloss they're offering for the X6 M.

Thanks for the link. There are some really nice cars on there.

It would be nice to have matte finishes from the factory. Here in Dubai, BMW paints the car from a BMW approved company that offers matte colors and two-tone colors. The FoilaCar is more of a temporary solution.

As for the piano black, it is not an exterior color, but a interior trim. Range Rover has had it for a while.
Matte Black is hard to maintain especially in sandy areas because it attract dirt and sand a lot.

Saw many more 650s than X6es in the past year. Obviously fewer than the ubiquitous 3-series. But I do see at least one 650i per week (80 miles of driving every day). True, they have been out longer...
But I have not seen an X6 on the road (either 35i or 50i) for like 3 months now. That's over 4000 miles of driving for me.

That's OK, you guys are sitting on so much oil over there, you can afford it. There's so much cash flowing through Dubai that your biggest probem is deciding whether you next skyscraper should be 200 floors or 250.

Im from America, and have been here only a year and a half.
I know I could have imported 2 new loaded X5 4.8's for the price of 1 here but the warranty is a hassle.

And im not complaining that I spent $125k because then I would have not bought it.
Its just that you people are complaining about $80k.

My guess is BMWNA will reinstate the old M base money factor from 2007 of .00360 (8%+) which is Mercedes/Porsche territory and the residuals will be pathetic (42-46%) like they are on the 09' 7 and were on all X6s until February. And I think "hot" dealers (Miami, So Cal) will be demanding MSRP for as long as they can. At these numbers a 36 month 15k/yr. lease with no cap cost reduction could easily go over $2,000.00/month.

If you're buying the car, these numbers are meaningless. I recall M division publicly stated somewhere that they want owners to buy their cars, not lease.

And this idea has merit. I leased my car with an MSRP $9,000 lower than its M counterpart. But the leasing at that time on the M car was as stated above. That $9,000.00 difference in MSRP translated to a $500.00 difference in a monthly lease payment.
