Im up

Tomorrow when it warms up a bit I will take a picture of the power harness connector at the back. Another person with the factory nav ran into needing that wire mod I did and I don't have a good enough pic showing how I did it.

I didn't get anything done today I had planned. Wife had a list of stuff for me to do for her when I woke up

Happy wife = happy marriage !

So I spent the day running errands and it was in the 40's when I got home. So maybe tomorrow I can get the pictures taken. So far the people that pm'd me were able to figure it out from the descriptions and pm's I sent them.

I got mine up & running today in very little time thanks to this post & Crowz! It’s not 100% finished & I still have to wire the I-bus module into the car. So far I’m very happy with the headunit. I always avoided the aftermarket radios as I didn’t want to deal with relocating the navigation unit. It’s a lot nicer than I was expecting. I love having an actual touchscreen in the car! The small little touches that go into this unit add up & really get noticed on an end user level. I definitely recommend it to anyone.

Just ordered the I-Bus stick and paid for the app license.

Will be awesome to have all the OBC functionality plus all the coding options available in my Eonon GA6166 Android head unit.

Thanks Crowz for the discovery.

Mike

I'm glad this stuff helped you all.

I just hope I can get back finishing more of it all. Its going to get hard for me to do much more this year with the weather getting cold. I don't have a garage and at my age cold actually hurts

So it will be on warm spots from now till full on winter. Then nothing much till spring gets here.

^That's why we purchased a home that had a 2 car garage converted to a large bedroom by the previous owners. It was plumbed into the HVAC. I just knocked down the walls they put up, put in garage doors, and BAM... heated/cooled garage workspace.
