That's correct. Instead of the stock bushings having only the rear adjustment strictly for camber, I can adjust the front A-arm bushing for toe. I adjust the front bushing for max toe in as well as the guide-link, and still come up short for toe.

Are you on lowering springs or bags? The measurement is suppose to be from the bottom of the rim to the upper fender flare by keeping the tape measure perpendicular in alignment of the center BMW hub cap. That's what that document was I posted a couple posts back.

Both Wishbones Out

Okay...so I took out the RH side wishbone out, and the ball joint doesn't feel AS loose. One way I can tell is that the ball joint has enough internal friction that it will stay in one place while the LH side ball joint has nearly none and the rubber seal returns it to center.

My guess is that the LH side is bad of course.

Either way...I order Lemfoerder branded ones from FCP Euro. I pray to J these will get me to toe in--but TBH, I have very little confidence just because of a little play in the ball joint.

I think mine didn't really show how bad it easy until I cut the rubber off. Then I could move the joint over 1mm directly sideways.

Stock 3.0i. I generally measure to the center of the roundel. It's the best way to measure for easy comparison since it's not impacted by wheel diameter.

That sounds like stock height, but the 1/2" difference is odd.

Foxwell has calibration option for e53. E70 has an automated calibration involving adding 300# of crap in and out of the trunk.

I've measured half inch differences on brand new BMWs. I wouldn't worry about that.

I don't think it will correct less than 1cm (12.7 = ¹/₂")

So the rubber seal is possibly masking this movement? I guess that makes sense. I guess this REIN wishbone is a REAL piece of junk...

Oh gotcha.

Yeah...i'm not too sure why there is a 1/2" difference between the two. I remember one of the rubber isolators on the springs was slightly deteriorated, but nothing else. I guess to be super technical I would need to weigh the vehicle at each wheel the same time to determine if there is a substantial weight difference causing this.
