I will try just getting a better drill bit or see if I have to get a dremel to wallow it out like it's suppose to be.
It'll go to the side of the weld if you push harder. It's just sitting in plastic. I just did this like 4 weeks ago.

Drill out the plastic and move the bolt over. Cut off the little hex bump that holds the nut just means you have to hold the nut to tighten

I can't just push harder on the plastic brake holder. I don't want to compromise and brake this holder as chinsey as it is. It won't fully seat at all. Drilling out the plastic is not the right solution for this issue. There isn't much "meat" of the plastic for this.

This issue is on the wishbone MFG over-welding the joint. The correct action would've been to weld the part correctly.

I can't find a replacement plastic holder for any reasonable amount. $40 plus $50 shipping from Latvia...for just one side. -_-

The plastic holder will have the same problem your best bet if you wish to not modify the holder is to use a Dremel or angle grinder and cut the weld back

That's my plan as this would be the most correct way to resolve the issue.

Alrighty...well as expected, drilling out the weld took longer than usual--but it worked, none the less!

I got both sides in and everything nearly buttoned up. Now I just need to install the wheels and check to see if I can get some toe-in.
