all-up/close/lock

I know this is an over-simple response to a complicated question, but:
can the few that have come up with the 'programming' kit return this lock/all-up euro-only remote feature? The key-in-lock thing isn't bad, but the remote would be Greatly appreciated (or do we have a different remote/part# in US market, and need a euro key.. OR would that solve the issue, -buy- a euro key from our friends in EU).
I have not seen an electronic product in recent memory that doesn't have some backroom Firmware whizkid completely recoding the brains of it within a week of its release.

Hi all. I did the tranny trick and wow what a difference.

Another hidden feature is that if one of your angel eyes goes out then the corresponding front indicator light stays illuminated. Not sure why.

ok. EVERYONE has noticed the change temperature thing from F to C but NO ONE has told me how they did it. I changed accidently when trying to do a service reset(which is also acting weird for me to). I spent an hour messing with the MID and found the cluster test i like to call the lexus start up test and found out when my X was made.shows how long i sat there pressing 2 buttons just to get this reading back, and still can;t figure out how to do it.

Did you try looking in the manual?

http://cache.bmwusa.com/PDF_68edc96d...e-719c2a74569c

page 74 of 193 in the PDF file.

Actual page 72

This might work, but since you didn't specify model or year?

Press and hold down the button with ignition key in position 1.

Turn ignition key to position 0. Temperature units should change.

so you don't look like a motorcycle driving down the road. Safety safety safety, good old Germans think of everything.

Did you read the manual at the link provided and look at the pictures?

It's the button located to the bottom left of the speedometer.

It worked fine on my North American model. It is the rolling up from the key fob feature that isn't on North American models.
