Another hidden feature is that if one of your angel eyes goes out then the corresponding front indicator light stays illuminated. Not sure why.
so you don't look like a motorcycle driving down the road. Safety safety safety, good old Germans think of everything.

Did you try looking in the manual?

http://cache.bmwusa.com/PDF_68edc96d...e-719c2a74569c

page 74 of 193 in the PDF file.

Actual page 72

This might work, but since you didn't specify model or year?

Press and hold down the button with ignition key in position 1.

Turn ignition key to position 0. Temperature units should change.

Did you read the manual at the link provided and look at the pictures?

It's the button located to the bottom left of the speedometer.

You're slow in the head if you think the creeky brittle German plastic is "quality" compared to the Japanese luxo's. Actually you've already confirmed you're slow in the head twice now in this thread so I'm not sure why I am trying.....

It worked fine on my North American model. It is the rolling up from the key fob feature that isn't on North American models.

Jetta's have done that for 15 years!

So when you get back from the mall your can load your bags directly in the back seat without having to set them on the ground to open a door!
