Just found a very cool feature programming. I have always hated the turning signal light turning on when xenon and angel lights are on. I just found that they can be programmed to never come on and only be used as signal lights. They never go on unless you are using your signal lights.

Now the X looks awesome!!!!

Do you mean the lights next to the headlights or the ones on the fenders?
And you programmed them to only light up when the turn signal is blinking correct?

I tried this.

Transmission Learning Reset, Simply turn the key to position 2. Hold the accelerator to the click point for 25 seconds. Let go of the accelerator, start the engine and off you go. The transmission's learning algorithm will be reset to 0. Therefore, it will lose the slow and gentle acceleration that the previous owner used...

Is there any indication (bleep) that it's reset? I did it twice and nothing.

Just discovered this last night. Say you park your X.turn it off, open the door, pull the key out.if you push the lock button on your key you will hear doors lock then when you get out the car and close the door, that door will lock as well and the alarm will set

the way I got around this was to put it in sport mode haha, just kiding. No if you read up on this topic there are lots of theorist who say this is just a temporary fix cause the computer will just adjust after a while again anyhow.

It will adjust in time, but I think I'm going to reset at least once a month from now on. I needed power last week and did NOT have it. The X did not respond. I reset it and sure enough, like getting a 75bhp boost.

So the concensus is that there is no beep, you just put the accelerator down to lowest position for 25 seconds and then it's done.

Dead Battery = Locked out?- Not really!

I did not notice anyone mentioned this so, here it is!
In case of electrical malfunction you can still unlock your BMW.There is an emergency position past the normal stop. What you do is simply turn the key counter clockwise past the normal unlock position stop, witch will allow you to manually unlock your driver door.
