Tired of crushed chothes?

Well, here's my hint...

Tired of crushed clothes? Well, the tip is good, but can be dangerous.

The seat belt has a "lock" to let not the belt tightening your stomach. See this picture:

To use this, fasten your seat belt, pull the part that goes on your belly leaving it slightly loose, pull that piece showed in to pic 1 to close the piece that locks the belt like pic bellow:

The belt is locked without squeezing your stomach and crush your clothes:

BUT BE CAREFUL! If the belt is too loose, PRAY FOR THE AIRBAG RUN!

Chris

Cant resist.. I can do both ways with mine... Non US

And although it is a handy feature... I dont like holding the button down until all windows have finished going up or down.. That gets tedious..

Any news on the UP feature being programmed on US models? Love the feature on hot days to let out the heat before strapping baby in the car seat.

Windows Up and Down Available in US

The feature of rolling your windows/sunroof up and down from your key is available on US model. I programmed it myself. I live in the DC area in case anyone would like me to program their X5.... FREE of course.

I like to show it off

I purchase a BMW Scanner 1.4.0 software and connection on eBay for about $70 (The original costs about $650 on BMW Scanner by P.A.Soft - BMW diagnostic software and used parts reprogramming tool)

Take a look at the screen below; I selected all options under "Selective Central Locking" since I didn't know which key I was using. Only "Mechanical Lock" was selected. "Mechanical Lock" means you can insert your key in the driver door lock, turn it right and hold. It will lock the vehicle, the windows, and sunroof.

The BMW Scanner is the best tool one can have. I can read all errors on my car (yes, the error description, not only the code). You can clear all error and light. Scan specific module of your car.
