Seems nice enough. For me I love the comfort seats and the sliding load floor comes in handy too. However, if those are no big deal to you since you have the DVD headrests or other things more important then no biggie.

I suggest looking at other 4.8s with the comfort seat or sliding load floor and see for yourself if its not really a biggie for you.

Shop around and compare. When I was looking, internet pics were pretty much the same. They look great until you see the car up close - then all the cosmetic flaws will show. Even after buying my X and my perceived thorough physical check, I found some minor flaws that I missed when I washed the car.

Take your time and have it checked out by a third party. Look carefully if there's curbage on the wheels. Check every PDC sensor to make sure each one is working. When driving any noise/squeeks/whine etc.

Oh man .. I could go on and on ... Oh, make sure they throw in the rear cargo cover - that's not a cheap piece.

There, I gave you my thoughts - again.

Well it's definitely not "loaded" which is the typical used car dealer catch phrase IMHO. The options it doesn't have however you may not even care about, but just to be complete. It doesn't have Comfort Seats ($1200), Rear Door side airbags ($385), or pull out loading floor ($380). In addition to what everyone has already said try to get a new set of floor mats and the rear cargo cover (I'm assuming Twinspoppa is referring to the leatherette one that lines the entire trunk space including when the seats are folded down and not just the plastic tray that runs around $50). The carfax report lists 3 owners which is a lot given such a new car. I find that a little odd. The 1st owner had a last reported mileage of 4,597 in 5 months (230 miles/week avg) and the 2nd owner had reported mileage 4,735 in 20 months (1.7 miles/week), huh? So the 2nd owner drove it 138 miles (half a tank of gas) in a period of 20 months?!? Then the 3rd owner put 34,826 miles on it in 1 year which is like 145 miles per day! Wow. Something doesn't jive at least to me. I'd get the full service history to see what's what.

One thing that I think was unfortunate on the 2006 models was that they discontinued the alcantara/leather upholstery option.

BTW your car's production date is 10/2005. Just an FYI.

No, I was talking about the standard cargo cover. The pics don't show one. Reminds me, I bought one of those leatherette things and couldn't figure out how to install it. I got to put it up for sale.

Sometimes when it shows low miles over a certain period of ownership, long or short, its because its dealer owned. Can be transferred from one dealer to the next, etc.

The black rubber cargo cover is like $50. Not that bad.

You're right about the low miles thing, however doesn't carfax typically say dealer owner or fleet vehicle if it's not registered to a private party?

Its probably me not calling it the right thing but I mean the one that normally you pull (spring loaded shade) that covers the cargo area.

Yeah, I think you're right. Normally, if its dealer owned its indicated.
