1. Replaced front left axle.
2. Replaced front left suspension arms & lower ball joint 3. Replaced bank 1 VANOS distribution piece that I broke last week 4. Retimed the engine and sealed it back up 5. Ordered new bosch+4 plugs because at this point why the hell not 6. Reinstalled condenser and pusher fan 7. Installed the Griptech SC pulley hub. Can't wait to get her back on the road

I cut the stock mufflers off and v-band'ed them, before having a couple bits of 2.5" pipe bent, then I made hangers and cut them to suit. popped the diesel covers on and its nice and neat. has a nice note and is adequately obnoxious when I really get on it. if the local constabulary isn't a fan, I can bolt the stock mufflers back on. |

dicided to open the old beastie up a bit on the highway, but at 220kph it appears the engine cover underneath decided to come loose... bit of a scary moment
in the shop today for maintanance, looks like one airbag in the rear is leaking a bit so will have those replaced. also took off the module with the licence plate lights and the trunk switch. bulbs are good, wires are good, but one light doesn't work... has anyone repaired that circuis board in there or is it better to find a replacement? |
