I did turn on perspective view! It's cool. I like it. Makes it feel more "modern". Still kind of confused about the availability of updated maps though....

I did some reading but didn't come up with a conclusion of where to obtain them.

haha here we go again ,
today decided to upgrade the satnav, didn't go as well as I had planned,
burned cd in wrong mode, crashed the cd drive (mk3) had to take it apart, to get disk out, THEN it decided it didn't want to accept disks, physically wouldn't go in , again had to take it apart to get a cd in ,
burned another cd , proper mode, sat nav said upgrading , then said resetting , please wait , so I waited, ...........................30 mins later I thought its crashed and turned ignition off. took cd out , then thought , hmm , ignitions been on all this time ,
yeah you guessed it flat battery.
let it till now (I had to go to sleep.)
car fires up ok which is odd seeing as it was dead earlier, sat nav is updated it works
warning lights on dash im not too happy about tho , abs/tc and the 3 on the far right,
computer wont let me see mpg on screen it just shows (--)

Replaced throttle position sensor for the nitrous. Sometimes the it was firing when I was taking off normally. Quite a surprise if I was turning a corner.

today I.....
replaced my rear right pdc sensor, they all "tick" when u put your ear to them . however the pdc system itself still doesn't work (flashes and beeps)
then I tried to put my door cards on as my new leds for the door handles turned up. (they didn't work either when connected to loom)
tested old led after I cut it off, it worked, then re attached old back to car, then tried to connect the Bowden cable back onto door handle and that broke ( tried to repair it as it broke when I took it off to remove door card)

so sum up, ive still not got my pdc's working. still not got my door card on, still got my tools all over the boot
HOWEVER . I not got auto lights working and my little leds in the door handles,
best thing is I went to local bmw dealers going there there is a loooooong tunnel v8 noise
oh and I saw a i8 at dealers , very very nice car

Where did you get the brake caliper cover? Everyone of them I've seen have Brembo on them. Looks clean with them on.
