I replaced with Meyle HD, ride quality is solid. Powerflex is almost 4x the cost of the Meyle HD bushings and I didn't think it would be 4x better of a bushing considering the originals lasted 10 years.

Many have reported that the Powerflex bushings are nice, but again, just playing the other side of the coin that any replacement bushing is going to be better than a shot OE bushing. One would have to put a fresh OE/Meyle HD bushing in, and then swap out for Powerflex to see if you actually "feel" the difference.

Yes, I did about 10,000 mi. ago. Ride is a bit harder but not enough to be concerned about. I like what it did to handling. I would go the same route if I were to do over. I suggest renting the Subframe tool to get the stock ones out. Installation of the Powerflex bushings is easy.

LOL. Put the new meats on yesterday. Keeping two for spares as they actually could go another 10k miles. (I should rotate more)

Replaced the aux fan, oil separator drain pipe, and rear roundel yesterday too. Productive day!

Took the X5 on its longest "shakedown" run yet since I've been chasing/fixing various-leaks since March. Knocked off about 180 continuous miles yesterday. Very happy to say - it didn't leak a drop!

Washed and detailed- (weekly effort), screwed in some new plugs, and checked all the fliuds. All OK.

Idles so much better and there was an improvement in tip in aceleration, normal for any new plugs. Oh, I pulled out the OE single ground strap fine wire and replaced with multi prong ground straps. Simple job with the right hand tools everyone has in their box. The X5 now has 55K on her.
