Completed a six day, 2000 kms tour of the south-west of Western Australia. Drove through some pretty heavy rain, strong winds and deep puddles. 150 kms was on dirt roads, some heavily pot-holed and corrugated. The X5 was such a comfortable vehicle for this trip. No issues whatsoever - she ran like a Swiss clock. The recently installed Magnaflow x-pipe made the exhaust a bit loud early in the morning at one of our hotels, however the other early risers were Variety Club Bash drivers (charity fun-run of vintage cars) who came over for a chat and to share their travel stories.
Took a bit of an effort to clean and detail the car upon our return, but this is exactly what I bought the beast for. Very impressed with the car's performance and the missus was all smiles too (even when we were going a fair bit faster than the posted limits).

Had a local shop do:
install Remanufactured Arnott Front Left strut, old is cored, ride height calibrated ecs 20 mm front, H&R 30 mm rear spacers installed. Will retorque after few days Transfer case fluid changed, adaptations not reset. Alignment done a another local body shop after front strut and spacers. The tech who did alignment said, front camber is not adjustable (by design?) and is off by .97 degree (I think) both sides. He said we can install a bolt in place of one of the strut bolt and that will allow to adjust it, I declined but want to know what the consensus on this is. I can post my alignment before and after if needed.
