Too low man! To make a drop like that even driveable your spring rate is going to have to be so high, when you finally get to a destination you kidneys will still be bouncing around... loooong after you exit the truck! I think a drop where the gap between tire and fender is more or less the same around the tire is the way to go. The whole tucked tire look looks silly on an X, IMO, of course.

Edit: You decided to go the custom air setup route?? Finally! Lol. You better be posting pics of that!

Check out my sig pic, it's resting on the bump stops....so even being able to get your X to go that low is going to be a hassle as it isn't even within the range of motion to begin with. Not to mention, you DEFINITELY have to make some changes to the the wheel wells as the front will have some major rubbing issues up top. Even on the bump stops, there's barely a fingers width of clearance between the top of the tire and the fender liner. Just a heads up

thanks man...we are going to set it up like yours...just at the top of the tires......thats what i figured on bumps and sudden dips on the road..definitely going to have problems that low..not unless its just straight roads..lol.

Finally got around to changing out the headlamp trays.....its amazing how much less "shake" you get when your headlamps are held down with 4 screws instead of just the top two!

when you have stiff susp i know those headlights take a beating too!

i remember circa 2005 on my old VW i bought projector headlights aftermarket, and didnt have a chance to make sure they were as secure as they should be, went onto a bridge that was having construction work done and hit one of the sections that was a HARD 3" transition, and SMACK! both projectors facing down at the ground. I had coilovers set to full stiff and was lucky I didnt crack my oil pan that day.

the suspension hit that 90 degree angle of the pavement so hard it popped the projectors out of their mounting sockets! after that I took them apart and screwed them down inside the headlight with additional screws!

^^ Luckily Hella did a pretty good job as far as keeping all the internals secure. The "wings" on the trays were brittle enough from the heat inside the engine bay.....taking the headlamp housings in and out of my truck about 1000000 times probably didnt help that situation very much either! lol.

Happily it was an easy enough fix....the 2 trays and side fender bumper supports took maybe 40 minutes start to finish.
