Did my wheels in anthracite plasti dip with several coats of glossifier. Had to redo one wheel. Seems that when a can is near empty it sometimes splatters rather than sprays. I sprayed wheels so there is some texture. May change that. Sprayed the calipers blue to tie with the BMW center cap.

Added amber LEDs to light up paddle shifters. Also supplemented LED floor lights with amber LEDs aimed to provide more light at the entry.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
holy hell that's a lot of carbon fiber (but your truck deserves it!)

I love the anthracite glossifier plasti dip wheels too!

Thanks, I like that both the interior and exterior is now monochromatic but still has some flair. FYI- the CF stands out much more in a picture than it does in person and I did all the door trim and dash trim as well. Yes, it is real CF.

Yes, I got that kit about 10 years ago from BMW. It didn't come with anything for the smaller ones like the ones on Ebay now.

Would you happen to have any close-ups of how they fit...in particular the edges? Im asking because Im at a bit of a crossroads in that sometime soon I either need to do something like this CF kit, or pull all the trim pieces and get them refinished.

I can take some pictures but I don't think BMW offers them anymore. The kits I have seen are more complete but there may be no relationship of fit. The Ebay kits are under $40. I would purchase one from a top rated plus seller like this and give them a shot.

Where'd you pick up the rear shades? I can't find them any where?
