Couple of questions:
1) What's the drying time on this stuff?
2) Does it come in any pinks or purple?
3) Can it be sprayed with a normal automotive paint gun?

It takes only minutes to dry between coats which is awesome. Wagner electric middle of the road priced paint gun will do from Home Depot. I'd mask off the center of the windows but you can leave about 1-2" of window exposed because you will have built up a lare from painting around it. This stuff is pretty cool and it's so forgiving to work with in terms of drips or runs. Just paint over it and it will blend in.

Here's something important to note. Set the gun's trigger on less paint (minus sign vs plus sign) and start with less output. Also, when you start painting, even if you stop for a couple seconds, point the gun away from the vehicle and touch the trigger once to get the paint moving. I found it splattered a little at first when the paint started moving but after that you're good to go. Have fun with it and post your results here.

I payed $130 for a gallon of Plasti-dip and I wouldn't recommend using the individual cans to spray your car; you need to build up layers and I think you'd go through a ton of cans trying to do that without any really great result. I paid $100 for the spray gun also.

So how do you remove the stuff, say a year later, when you want to go back to your original paint? Does it come off clean, or does it stay on in spots? And when you change colors, do you remove it first, or do you just layer it on?

To the OP, that looks awesome. I had never even considered doing anything like this, but now you've got me curious. I wonder if it would hold up on a boat...

Do you have to report the change of "color" to DMV if you go from white to black? Also i've only seen plasti-dip in Black and White, are there any other colors?

As for colour change, you just hit it again in another colour and when you're tired of everything, the thicker the paint, the better it's going to come off when the time finally comes to peel it. You just basically start in a corner and peel it like a latex glove.

can something like this be done? something like satin stripe, where you have matte plasti-dip and the original paint coexsist...
3dtuning.ru !

And i bet you can just tape up where you want the stripes to be, spray the plastidip and remove tape to make it look like that.

My oh my! I just saw the Blaze colors. At 58 bucks a gallon, April fools will never be the same.

Can you please keep us updated on this and post pics. I just dipped my rear bumper with a can today to see how it holds up. Also it's covering up some scratches.

There is also a clear coat available that will help it match up a bit better with the rest of your vehicle.
