Pulling the trigger on these tonight once I get a PP request for a discounted price I negotiated. I'm mostly concerned w/ how to delete the SLS system completely, then once installed, proper setup...lowering is one thing, but I don't wanna upset the handling of the truck by making it too hard or soft at the same time.

I have them. Good coils with a lot of adjustability. Very good ride as well.

Just popped into my head, but how does this affect alignment. Like do I need to get the KMAC camber pieces for $380 so I don't roast through tires like no other or will everything still be able to get aligned like normal by just taking it to a shop?

Dependent on your drop. The lower you go, the more likely the kmacs are needed.

I have a set on my 4.4i. Chelsea and I put them on about 6 months ago, because the prototype set that were on it, weren't valved ideally. They're excellent. A lot of adjust-ability, and they hold up great. The prototypes had about 50k hard miles on them(long-distance towing and occasionally jumping the truck!) and the shaft seals still looked basically new. I highly recommend these coil-overs for any car, as they punch way above their weight-class, for what they cost. Also, I'm fairly certain they'll do custom spring-rates/valving for little to no additional cost. They really are an excellent product

I just pulled the trigger on these also. Did you installed yours? How hard was it if you did, and do you have any tips? I was going to replace my struts with Bilstein HD, but decided to go this route. I hope I made the right decision,

I'm no mechanic. A indy installed mine for 100. Took him an hour, don't forget to deflae the rear bags. What spring rates did you get?

If the coilovers change the angle of the suspension to the tire your alignment specs will change. They may or may not be out of spec.

If one of your goals is to lower your X that will increase positive camber which means the inside of the tires will wear more than they were. How much depends on how much you lower the vehicle. It is possible to lower the vehicle to a point that the maximum positive camber specs can not be attained.

An hour to install! That is fast. I will be doing it myself, just want to know if I need anything special. I don't have air suspension, so don't have to worry about air bags. I am not sure about the spring rates, but this is what I am getting. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00E0PQ1C2/...410_item_image.
