Been a while - refresh my memory banks - you confirmed variable vacuum at the vacuum connection to the LP EGR, correct? Just want to make sure the hoses between the pressure converter under the intake to the LP-EGR actuator are not rotten. Be sure to note how any EGR linkages are connected in terms of adjusted position before you remove the EGR actuator. Take a bunch of pre-op pictures. My 2 cents. I went ahead and replaced the LP EGR cooler plus the EGR Valve #11717807928. What a bitch pardon my language is to replace. So far this has to be one of the top 5 Pain In the Ass jobs I've ever have to deal with. Unfortunately, and to my let down the problem is still there. Palmface!

ISTA+
I think you need to get ISTA+ to troubleshoot or concede defeat and take it in for service.
You have new EGR coolers, one of which needed to be changed (broken spring), so that is good. |
