are those 19s or 20s? Looks like 19s to me. I'm not feeling the rims, too many spokes.

I also seem to notice slightly less negative camber in the rear wheels.

From my info they are the new 20s. I hear you on spokes. Same here.

It looks like the evolutionary design from the 2000-2003 X5 4.4i 19" sports package Y-spoke wheels. Just curious what the 19" wheels looks like, but I guess the brochure will come soon....

i'd not buy a first run car.

(did that w/ my 2001 X5 4.4 #72 off the line. issues. minimal issues. but plenty of recalls).

also, would wait until the full lineup comes out. that would include a low power, mid power, hybrid, and M type HP version (ie X5 4.6/4.8)...

i'm not sure there is going to be a sport model now that this car has the 'sport' button. (which is different from 'sport' mode in previous years).

what 'dynamic' package are you referring to?

There will for sure be a sport model (is) or an ///M badge.

Don't think that answers X5JDX's question. The press release in the UK says that there will be a sport model in late 2007, as there is now in the UK (where it is available with each different engine). We also don't know what the spec difference will be until more detailed information is available. Some of the confusion comes from there not being a sport model in North America, as there is in the UK.

The future (is) model, which is a replacement for the E53 4.8, is a whole different subject.

oh, i see what you mean. i thought you meant 'sport package', like previous years, with tighter suspension, white corner lights, etc.

but you are right, seems like a more powerful engine like previous 4.8is, should be offered at some point... but probably going to be BIG bucks.

As has been mentioned, different markets are creating some confusion. I'm certainly confused about a lot of if's, what's and maybes and I'm sure if BMW are looking in they will be enjoying all the speculation. Too much market differentiation if you ask me.

The dynamic pack, I believe, will be offered in the UK as an option for first deliveries (April) and will include all the usual "Sport" goodies, shadow line, anthracite headlining 19" wheels (I pressume) tighter suspension etc. Now, if this delivers all this then what will an official production line "Sport" model offer that the dynamic pack doesn't? Again, this is all based on assumptions and hear say so I'm just fishing for some info to get ahead of the game. Hopefully the dealers will be able to release some real info specific to the UK market soon.
