IMO BMWs greatest weakness are the the electronics. Now they come out with a new car with way more electronics than anything else (many of them totally new). Sounds like a disaster ready to happen. I bet state Lemmon Laws will be put to the test with these.

What's directly behind the shifter? Looks like a hole and a couple of big buttons...

I meant the area behind the shifter - closest to the back seats....

The problem with run flats is the price and potential lack of availability. They scare me after the horrible experience we have had with our Sienna.

Those two issues worry me on my Z4; also, they are a little harsh. These on the E70 won't be such a low profile, and they are a newer generation, so they may be OK. If I manage to wear out the tires on the Z4, I am replacing the runflats with standard tires and buying the compressor/repair kit.
