Whistle

Hmm I was hoping for something more aggressive as well but maybe I will prefer the changes in person, as I tend to find with most cars these days. Fog lights? Idk if I like that placement but hey where else I guess Anyone know if they will be the same color as the angel eyes, I hate how my current fogs are yellowish. Also any word on potential new colors interior or exterior? I think I will stick with AW but who knows if something looks cool Some new wood trims would be cool as well. Will this lci include the shifter from the next gen 5 series? Sorry for the bombardment of random questions...Im one curious dude

the rear bottom looks like they went back somewhat to the E53 with the "unfinished" look near the exhausts... and I'm not talking about the tape. As for the front, I'd like to see it in person first...

Thanks for the nice comments.I like the new front and rear fascia's.....gives the X5 a pretty sporty look IMO.They need to lose the "wart" foglamps.I have to tip my hat to BMW...that psycho camo...does a good job hiding the details.Did not expect the rear to look like it finally turned out,in production form.Thanks. Don't like the back. Front looks okay but not really much of a change other than odd placement of foglights. It's that TT V8 under the hood that makes me jealous.

(3) What most mattered to me, the new idrive, was in the 2010. I probably would have waited if i wasn't.

We'll see, but I figure I got a good deal with $4,500 credit and $3,000 under MSRP. I'm betting when the 2011 comes out in April, there'll be no eco credit and most dealers will not want to give much more than $1,000 off MSRP, if that, for the first couple of months or longer.

I might still be disappointed if they do something good with the interior, but if the exterior styling is like the most recent photos I've seen, I actually prefer the old styling... the photos I've seen show a black stripe between the painted lower bumper parts and the upper painted body parts, which looks a bit odd to me. Maybe that's just in the prototype pictures... if they end-up being completely painted, I might prefer the new styling.
+1

The front passenger looks like he's holding on to the "OH SH!T" handle with both hands.

ugh....wow, they messed up the front with the fog lights. The earlier mules looked much, much better IMO. Absolutely will not be upgrading my '08 or '10 for the '11 now. Even though the TT 5.0 is tempting (unless they remove those fogs), forget it. Glad I took advantage of the eco-credit for the '10 3.5d rather than waiting for this...

I HATTEEEE the back.....the fog lights don't look too good either....Now Im wondering if its worth it to get just for the TT4.4 or if I should take the NA 4.8 with sport package standing at my dealer....or if I should get the RR sport

Are the wheelwells black or body colored?

Palbay, are the wheelwells black trimmed or are they body-colored?

Hard to tell on that silver car (page 46) if the trim around the wheel wells is black or if that darker appearance is due to the angle and shadows.

Really hope they don't have the wheelwells trimmed in black plastic. Audi had a station wagon with that and it looked awful, particularly against the lighter colors like silver or white.

Thanks in advance.
