Sorry to hear; that would be more than enough to piss anyone off! I would get the name of the manager and write to him directly. Tell him about your experience and how it's put you out without a vehicle due to THEIR mistake. Ask them why you would deal with them again and what THEY are willing to do about it to keep their reputation. Ask them to find you another vehicle with the same specs and see what they can do to cover the transfer fees and possibly re-imburse you for some of the trouble you had to go through.

Tell them you are willing to work with them before going to a lawyer, Business bureau or writing about your experience in the local paper! Of course you don't have to buy from them again and you should certainly keep searching but at least put some pressure on them to see what they come back with...Who knows maybe you'll get a better deal!
