> Also grey interior is no longer an option.
@!#$$#@# I was thinking of the metallic red with a gray interior as a first choice of color. What does anyone think of a tobacco interior with a platinum Bronze exterior? I have mixed feelings on the Tobacco, liking its uniqueness, but wondering (a) if I would like it long term and (b) if it would go with the Bronze. Metallic red with the Sand interior would look nice (My Z4 is red/sand), but since I tend to keep my vehicles ten years, I try to avoid light interiors as they are a pain to keep clean over the years. When I first saw this combination at the Seattle Car Show in 2007, I thought it looked great. Ultimately, I went with Monaco Blue because my wife wanted it. We both like the Tobacco interior. I'm also worried about my long-term interest, but it's too late now.

So the X5 sports activity package doesn't have adaptive drive anymore... if you want what the 07-09s sport pkg was, then it now costs $5700 instead of $3700? Tell me I misunderstood... cause I think a lot of people will skip adaptive drive for $3500 standalone.
The X6 50i performance upgrade seems very worthwhile.

ZAP - Sport Activity Package $1400 - Anthracite headliner and shadowline trim ZSP - Sport Package $4100 - Above plus Adaptive Drive. Adaptive drive does show as a $3500 ticket as a stand alone option The packages for the 30i are more $ - they include sports seats. ZAP is $1900 ZSP is $4600 Multi contour seats are standard in the 50i 7RR performance upgrade was the first option on my list

The Option 7RR performance upgrade isn't available for the diesel engine on the X6 or the X5 either.

Well, I actually saw a Bronze with a Tobacco interior yesterday, and it seemed to go together quite well. I wish the tobacco was just a bit lighter, as it is so close to the black in certain light that the dash looks a bit odd.
Still, I asked the sales guy to work up a price for ordering a 2010 in Bronze and Tobacco so we'll see how it goes and how badly they want the deal. If they're hungry enough to go for $500 over invoice, plus the $4,500, I'll do it for sure, at $1,000 over invoice plus the $4,500 from BMW, it's 50/50 over buying now, or waiting for March when the 2011 models are likely to come out with the re-freshen and new engines. |

I just thought of something, with the new iDrive coming to the X5, do we (note the use of "we" - yes, I finally ordered!) get the giant screen from the 7 or stay on the 8ish inch screen?
