Hi us_matrix,

I'm a newbie and a new member of this forum. I'm glad to have found this thread. Is it confirmed that this video interface unit works with 2010 X5 model? As I don't have OEM Navigation, I'm very interested in this unit.

Regards.

Yes, I can start a 2nd group buy. I will start taking deposit of $30 by paypal in order to get the ball rolling. As soon as I get 5 deposits. I will contact everyone of you to pay the rest to start the ordering process.

For the camera, I can get it for you same price $79 with free shipping.
For 2010 new iDrive, the unit is different with round connector and will cost little more. The group buy price is $350.

Give me your email and i will send you the instruction.

us_matrix, the video interface that I purchased as part of your first group buy has developed some problems in the last one month. It frequently looses the standard iDrive display signal and the screen thus goes blank. Switching the gear to Reverse and then back to Drive brings up the iDrive screen back to life, but then it again becomes blank after few seconds. On top of this, sometimes the whole screen becomes blue and then becomes normal after few seconds. I disconnected the video interface and tested everything for about a week and none of the above problems could be reproduced.
Could you please get in touch with the manufacturer and get my unit replaced as it is still under warranty?

in short, if we buy that ebay camera to replace what we have, we will instantly get the great nighttime resolution? I know errors may possibly pop-up... that's still up in the air...

The after rear camera has different connector than the OEM one. And also I saw a picture of the OEM camera unit before, the OEM camera is much bigger like a module unit.
