I am very interested in this. Have other people gone this route with their non-nav E70 X5? Are there potential electronic problems with the vehicle after installing aftermarket goodies?

I knew a guy who installed this unit on his 09 X6 Non-Nav without any issues. Here is the video. Enjoy! As you can see the screen is 6.5" instead of 8.8" Nav screen.

Can you please send me the installation instructions for the video unit and the camera?

I'm really interested in replacing the exisiting factory camera with this setup. I understand your disclaimer about possible error with the system if the exisiting camera is removed. I'll deal with that.

But if I am able to remove the exisiting camera from my system w/o issue. Is it possible to install this new camera with a system that has nav and the larger screen?

Yes, the system will work on OEM Nav or No Nav with 6.5" or 8.8" screen. That's not an issue.

The only part I am not sure about is replacing the OEM camera system to aftermarket.

Updated! Got 5 deposits and should be letting you guys know to start order very soon. I am just waiting for one of the buyer who has a 2010 X5 to confirm some information with him.
