Its certainly not 10X better than GPThunders. Looks great but shouldnt cost that much. GPThunders really do the job and for $20, its a no brainer

I just don't see how you have come to this conclusion. The GPT in the day are absent. I hope you're not trying to convince yourself about your purchase.

These two products are nowhere in the same league.

Ive had the GP Thunders for years now on 2 different cars. No convincing necessary. When compared to the much more expensive route, they always hold their own and most times look better. The ones who need the hug are those who spent the money on the expensive solutions. You're absolutely correct when you say they are nowhere in the same league. I couldnt agree more. Lets just say this: you enjoy your Lux angel eyes and I'll enjoy my GP Thunders. This way, we'll both be able to live happily ever after.

The main point here is what they look like when the headlights are ON... In this case the H8 GP Thunders or MTECs or Hoens etc are clearly and visually inferior...

I have the RD LED's and they are still holding up. I agree that they are not very bright, but LED is LED. Not matter what you do to halogen, it will still look like halogen, and won't give you that crispness you see with LED. I can immediately see the difference between non-LED and LED, and in my eyes, there is miles of difference.

So I take the different tack, that I wouldn't waste my $20 on the GPT since they are not LED, and won't give me what I'm looking for. All my opinion of course.
