I've got a 2008 e70 with 20" oem wheels. I have wide fender flairs.

I think of running 25mm in the back and 20mm in the front.

Have any of you done this?

damn your lowered x5 looks so nice...i want to pull the trigger so bad, but in NYC, i dunno if lowering is wise thing to do in a suv...high clearance is certainly beneficial when areas flood here in brooklyn.....

thank you, in NYC i wouldn't be to concern with floods, it does sit lower but not more than your average sedan. the issue would be ride quality since nyc roads are horrible. i try not to take the X to NYC as much as possible. (i spend most weekends there, Queens)

the front is H&R sport springs dropped 2.75" and rear is on stock air bags lowered with links
