Hi delviacv2,

sorry to jumped in the conversation. Am driving E70 X5 2010. just got my headlight retrofitted to LCI-AHL. However, had some problems encountered:
1. Turning on lights, corona rings will flicker.
2. Whenever I step on the gas, corona rings will flicker too. This only happen when the car is moving though.
3. AHL only working when its switched to auto mode. Its normal?
4. My car is RHD but bought the headlight for LHD. Any way to change the angle? cus right now driver side is higher than the passenger side.

Everything works great when the car stay still. Many many thanks in advance!

Albert

Yes is FRM 3 but not any FRM 3 in fact the one that I removed from my x5 was FRM 3 but the one your need is the one post 4/2011.
Also they need to change the vehicle order to a production date 4/2011 or newer.

Are the later versions backward compatible? i.e. can I replace the failed module from my 12/2009 with 04/2012 or whatever the nearest dealer has?

P.S. Not sure what exactly caused it, but I had the battery disconnected as a safety precaution while fixing backup camera, and now get "Lighting System" error that doesn't allow car to move as it thinks the driver door is open (plus a myriad of other things not working).
Rheingold test says FRM isn't responding, so I assume it's shot.
