Has anyone done this in the Tampa area? I have an early 2011 too that was not happy when finding out it was not going to have the LED coronas. My wife still make fun of me since she knows it really bothered me.

Its 2014 and the 2015 MY is available, my guess is you won't be keeping your 2011 very much longer.

Upgrading my headlamps with LED coronas and evidently I either purchased a bad led diode or a bad DRL controller. Either or, the LEDs on my right headlamp won't turn on. Does anyone have any troubleshooting experience at this? Specifically, I'm thinking it must be the controller if both LEDs do not light up. Left headlamp looks awesome but suffice it so say, I'm not in a happy mood.

Take the bumper off and swap parts from the other headlight one at the time.

Did you already code the FRM? If you didn't funky things like that happen.

Going to troubleshoot today by swapping parts. Never removed bumper before on my own but little choice it seems. Admittedly, hadn't done any coding yet but the vehicle status message says it's the right side DRL. Appreciate the thoughts.

Without coding, the vehicle (FRM) is not sending enough power to both sides to light up the drl. I'm telling you this from experience. I did the coding myself. The chances of both led modules being bad is rather small, so if it is indeed a faulty part, it will be the DRL controller.
When I did mine, prior to coding, the LED modules would strobe, or not power up, or one side would work and not the other. I would code first before you go through the hassle of taking off the bumper. Did you swap the adaptive (cornering light) modules from your old headlights to the new ones? Did you swap to a new FRM. If you didn't swap FRMs, and you have an FRM2, it won't power the LEDs.
