^^ Found the FRM3 from Morristown BMW for $260. Waaay cheaper than Tischer (getbmwparts.com). I don't know whats happening over there, but their prices have been steadily creeping up.

http://www.justanswer.com/bmw/2eq16-...ymbly-e70.html

Were you able to sell your non LED adaptive headlights?

I am not able to remove the right headlight (or left when in front of the car) because there is the water tank in the back. I even removed the top fender screws and pulled it out one inch but I am not able to push it down to avoid the water tank.
Do I miss something? The other side with oil cooler was easy compared to this one.
Any advise would be great!

Did you removed the bracket where the headlight sits? It has 2 screws on top at the engine bay and one 10mm nut in the bottom.

I did remove the bracket to install the new lights :-( Attached to the bracket is another bracket with some compressor and it was very difficult to attach the bracket back after putting the new LED headlamp in.

Thank you again for your great write up and help with this.

How long did it take you guys to jack up the car, but it on jack stands, take off the wheels, pop the rivets for the inner liner and access the bolts holding the headlight?

I am not a mechanic so it took me 3 hours for the left side without removing the oil cooler and about 5 hours for the right side because the bracket looks like one piece attached to the fender. I also have the dynamic ride adjustment compressor attached to the bracket. Very tight on the right side but I managed to get it done.

The LED came right up when turning on the light but after starting the engine they start flickering so I have to change the build date next.
I noticed that the adaptive headlights not turning to the full left anymore. Is this normal? Did BMW change this to avoid turning into opposite traffic?
