In the US it seems 95% of e70s are black, white or silver....... Even to find my Cayenne in dark blue metallic was a bit of a unicorn, though there are quite a few in that color in my neighborhood, they seldom show up in the trade in that color.

Congrats, looks very good.
I know what you mean as I don't ever see any other Red (Melbourne Metallic) X5M's on the road

Thank you! Other than the damage, I'm really impressed with the condition.

Put some ceramic coating on the lenses to keep the UV from destroying them rapidly.

Looks good and great job!!!

What would be better film or ceramic coat?

Film won't protect it from uv - just rock chips and debris. By wet sanding it you're removed a layer and it will yellow fast. The ceramic coat will prevent that and you can always put a film on top for the rock chips. I have a film on mine as I don't feel like replacing led lenses ($$$) and the roads in Houston are terrible.

It is at S2 Dynamics for alignment

Getting the alignment refreshed as the left rear tire was chewing up the inner shoulder. I had it aligned last year in the spring and then replaced the inner bushings right after on the rec of S2.

Unfortunately then had no time to go back to them but had it done in a hurry last summer at a place that clearly did not quite have the experience to deal with the e70 and something was not right. Only noticed the odd wear pattern when I got the car back to the US last May. The rear tires are on their last legs anyhow and so, before putting another set of tires on, I wanted this to be resolved.

EDIT, shout-out for S2 Dynamics, they nailed the settings as with the previous two visits to their place. Drove it about 50 miles in to VA and back yesterday. Car is super happy, steers easily, tracks straight and does not track ruts. Many wonder where to go for alignment, if you are near Rockville, MD, this is the place to go.

My replacement NOx sensor appeared yesterday, time to get her back on the jack stands. Hoping this is finally the last emissions related repair.

Could you share alignment specs?
