Finally got around to installing my wireless CarPlay screen and boy does it make a difference! I got my unit online from Andream for around $340 USD. My unit does not run full android, just wireless/wired CarPlay and wired Android Auto. All I wanted was a more modern looking screen and wireless CarPlay, so this was perfect. For the aux cable, I purchased the UGreen 2ft cable, which I love because the cable is flat and one end has an L shaped jack, making for an easy and low profile installation. The unit can be configured to boot straight into CarPlay in less than 30 seconds, which is pretty awesome. I also purchased a set of anti-glare screen protectors online from AvinUSA, which do a great job of reducing glare and fingerprints.

After having to get a rebuilt engine we got "Baby" home but she missed the indy too much after nearly 6 months in his shop. Started "crying" power steering fluid all over the garage floor for two days. So back she went and it took 2 weeks of ordering parts piecemeal to have all the hoses in the power steering system replaced. (High pressure and low pressure.)
Tomorrow will be the second day back and I'm waiting to see what stunt she pulls to get back to her indy "home".

Looks very nice, planning to buy one from AVIN, unfortunately they don't have the right-hand drive model.

Recently installed these glossy black metal radio/ac controls trim covers that I found on eBay. I was worried they would look tacky, but I think they don’t look bad. They give the X5 a slightly more updated appearance. The only downside is that they attract fingerprints and smudges like crazy. Thinking about getting something similar for the light switch trim as well.

"I discovered that Old English Dark Scratch Cover, rubbed in across the cracks with a Q-Tip and then wiped with a paper towel, almost completely hides both surface scratches and cracks."

Just did this on my wife's E70 and it worked like a charm. Funnily enough it did not do any sort of job on Der Adler's Hex aluminum. LOL LOL

Got rid of the run flats for Michelin ps4s. Ride is so much better. Though, there’s a lot more less initial turn in response that I expected.
Also passed smogged - 2 more years of use..

It would have been very useful to give out some details. It helps the community gain knowledge on what can fail and any warning signs....

Nothing failed aside from a new issue where I’m not getting audio from the hifi amp.

Drivetrain is solid. Just have some new electrical gremlins. “Broke 213k” didn’t mean anything broke. Just a new achievement on the odo.

Sorry for the confusing phrase.
