Three thousand, four hundred and seventy one posts....vs a tinsy winsy little 43 posts. Hey Shrek, who's the troll? Resolute sounds like the issue is solved...or did you mean resolve? It's kinda hard to take insults from a guy who can't even spit out a coherant sentence.

At the end of the day, about what you have to say but yourself. Go make your "better box" and sell it for the same price, otherwise go away. I get the feeling you're just going to fade off into the distance and remain the troll that YOU are.

Oh, and before you try to quote me w/ your w/o actually thoroughly first, how about you slow down and think it through. You won't win this battle w/ me, mmmk pumpkin.

At this point , I'm just having fun w/ it now

Next caller....

And the reason I might not get things out RIGHT AWAY, just might have to do with the fact that I am a full-time student, a senior at a highly ranked university, trying to get into grad school. So on top of an intense work load, as well as working part time and being my own mechanic since indies around here are screwing people because of their loss of work due to the economy, its hard enough to even have time to sleep. I also just found out I have arthritis, (I'm only 22), and a slipped disc because of sports when I was younger, and being hunched over doing boxes didn't exactly mend the situation. So in that matter, I apologize for waiting times. This isn't exactly easy and quick stuff here, there's lots of process' involved. I know I don't specify an exact delivery date, of which I should, but I've tried to do my best. Buy hey, I'm pretty much done with it, so anyone else that wants to give it a shot, I'll gladly help you out. I have other things to manage, like graduating and landing myself a job where I don't end up making speaker boxes in a chop shop for the rest of my life.

Stephen, thanks for the follow up. I know you had the family issues and was pretty accommodating through the process. It was a bit disconcerting when I wasn't able to get a hold of you for 3 weeks after I shipped back the box and was in the situation where i had no box or refund. Nevertheless thank you for shipping the replacement, let me know when you have the tracking number available.

Most shallow woofer only require a 3" mount depth you can distribute air space anywhere in that compartment enough room.....

No forced me no..... But your cant rate a food you never tried...... Sheet rock screws already discredit your ability...

He did use sealer but its riddled with screws making hard to modify and mount... My sub cutout was even cut to 10" dia...obviously conat mount a sub to that..... Its junk
On an enclosure of this size, yes it does matter. Before I even referred you to this enclosure, you were all ready to go and spend 3x that on one of the brand name enclosure....guess what thickness of wood they use, smart guy!!!

BTW....since you lack the ability to or spell properly while trying to be wity with me, there is a little ABC check box in the upper right corner of these reply windows. That check box; that little guy should be your best friend in here.

If you cant deal with this people should not attempt to sell products online in forum, ebay or anywhere else!
It's called buyer beware. Hell, X5's themselves are riddled w/ problems just like any car maker...are you out there picketing them or building a better car?

Your box doesn't fit, while countless others have had nothing but success and good reviews. If you and maybe a few others are an exception to the rule, that doesn't make it the rule, especially when far more people have had success. Until you make this better box, invest the time and start producing them for others, get over yourself. I've gone out on a limb and tried to help others as well, from charging 1/3 what the dealerships do for repairs, helping people fix their computers, cutting my commissions to help someone sell their house because THEIR dumbasses had to have THAT house and knowingly overpaid for it in the first place (as if that should be MY problem when they need to get out from underneath it), etc etc...you can't please everyone.

I don't know Chris, but as I said before, this could come down to body style differences between production dates...who knows. In the meantime, how about a little less bitchy bitchy and more worky worky on this holy-ier (sp?) than thou box you'll be building.

I think I just felt the world stop spinning, we need you desperately Shrek, you're our only hope!!

PS - Sorry, there wasn't an "I'm a big, bad ass soccer superhero" smiley, and since you talked about your "wood on" w/ me earlier (and lets not forget the very physical descrption you send me over PM a few months back while threating to do things to my ), I assumed you'd be OK w/ all those sword fighter images in an effort to appease your, umm, "lifestyle" preferences. You can look, but no touching, k you silly little 'er.

wow... I'm just wasting thread space.. Allstarsrd12 I wish I would have gotten you to build a box as I have heard nothin but great things about your boxes.. The one I bought they could have used more of the cargo space... My custom box from ED does not even reach all the way to the bottom area in the cargo space. I had to put a few sheets of box foam at the bottom so it would fit and not move. The design stays real skinny like a hollow L. Where as your follows the curves and angles of the X. box air space is .4 cuft. My sealed box hits deep from 10hz -40hz then all bass dies at 50hz tones.. then start hitting again at 60 hz to 100hz.. all factory radio with alpine amp.. But again I only wish I had your skill and 1 of your boxes. Good luck on your studies. M5James I respect your words on this forum I read countless post were you taught me stuff about my first X. Like I said I'm just wasting thread space..lol

Instead of being in such a rush, which I don't get because what the hell could be so important that you NEED TO HAVE BASS RIGHT NOW????? If you had said, listen, I'd like to work out something where this can be adjusted, sure, that would be a different story. I just did one for someone and they've been very polite. I had made some in Connecticut while visiting family for a couple weeks, so maybe somehow in the entirety of everything else going on in my life, and issues that aren't related to woodshop projects, maybe a mistake is possible! I never claimed to be a mass-production factory of these things and never stated myself as being a company or any other organization/establishment. I would have gladly fixed a MISTAKE, but you were impossible to deal with. This is all on top of the fact that you DIDN"T EVEN PAY FULL PRICE. I cut you a deal because you whined and haggled so much.

Don't come into something I've started, and trash my name. I'm human, mistakes can happen. But to come here and tell me what I did and didn't do???? Your out of line, and 100% wrong.
Find a hobby, or start doing it yourself. Don't spend your time bashing what I do, you let me worry about that. Maybe you should start this up on your own. Would probably open your eyes a little.

And if your so knowledgeable on the subject, why did you buy one?
for the record, M5James is right, 3/4 is too big, for using it all the way around, which is why I used 3/4s for the side walls, which I'm assuming you didn't know because you felt like advising me on that topic too.

And countertop screws? Now your a nail and screw connoisseur? You can tell exactly which screws I used? Find that hard to believe.....

Look if I dont get a refund or a new box shipped out in 3 days...Im filing a pay pal dispute.

I have contacted you ,emailed you polite and or rude does not seem to effect your communication.

I am in the works to filling a mass multi pay pal dispute if I dont get a correct box or my money back...I have 7 guys on the list so far... Might be a easier cheaper solution to deal with my problem here.

I dont mess around I get to the point.

So make it easy and do one or the other.
