I had the same issue with fitment, I took photos and sent them to Chris showing the hole was cut out in the wrong spot. 2 screws on the sub had nothing to attach to, and the bottom of the sub was hitting a ledge inside the box so it wouldn't drop down inside and sit flush on top. I was able to contact Chris at the beginning of Feb, and he offered an exchange, however I shipped it back 3 weeks ago and haven't been able to get a response from him ever sense as far as the replacement box. If you have a pending transaction via Paypal and have not recieved it I suggest disputing it and reorder it when he is available. In my situation it took 40 days from the day I paid, until the day i received the box so I ran out of time on the dispute before I was able to receive the replacement box. Now I am forced to go the tedious route of disputing the transaction via VISA.
Stephen, if you are still on the forum, please contact me to reconcile this issue.

I don't know where you the get balls coming on here and trashing my name. If you hadn't have had such an attitude throughout the process things would have worked out differently. Instead of being in such a rush, which I don't get because what the hell could be so important that you NEED TO HAVE BASS RIGHT NOW????? If you had said, listen, I'd like to work out something where this can be adjusted, sure, that would be a different story. I just did one for someone and they've been very polite. I had made some in Connecticut while visiting family for a couple weeks, so maybe somehow in the entirety of everything else going on in my life, and issues that aren't related to woodshop projects, maybe a mistake is possible! I never claimed to be a mass-production factory of these things and never stated myself as being a company or any other organization/establishment. I would have gladly fixed a MISTAKE, but you were impossible to deal with. This is all on top of the fact that you DIDN"T EVEN PAY FULL PRICE. I cut you a deal because you whined and haggled so much.

for the record, M5James is right, 3/4 is too big, for using it all the way around, which is why I used 3/4s for the side walls, which I'm assuming you didn't know because you felt like advising me on that topic too.


And countertop screws? Now your a nail and screw connoisseur? You can tell exactly which screws I used? Find that hard to believe.....

Look if I dont get a refund or a new box shipped out in 3 days...Im filing a pay pal dispute.

I am in the works to filling a mass multi pay pal dispute if I dont get a correct box or my money back...I have 7 guys on the list so far... Might be a easier cheaper solution to deal with my problem here.

Stephen, thanks for the follow up. I know you had the family issues and was pretty accommodating through the process. It was a bit disconcerting when I wasn't able to get a hold of you for 3 weeks after I shipped back the box and was in the situation where i had no box or refund. Nevertheless thank you for shipping the replacement, let me know when you have the tracking number available.

And the reason I might not get things out RIGHT AWAY, just might have to do with the fact that I am a full-time student, a senior at a highly ranked university, trying to get into grad school. So on top of an intense work load, as well as working part time and being my own mechanic since indies around here are screwing people because of their loss of work due to the economy, its hard enough to even have time to sleep. I also just found out I have arthritis, (I'm only 22), and a slipped disc because of sports when I was younger, and being hunched over doing boxes didn't exactly mend the situation. So in that matter, I apologize for waiting times. This isn't exactly easy and quick stuff here, there's lots of process' involved. I know I don't specify an exact delivery date, of which I should, but I've tried to do my best. Buy hey, I'm pretty much done with it, so anyone else that wants to give it a shot, I'll gladly help you out. I have other things to manage, like graduating and landing myself a job where I don't end up making speaker boxes in a chop shop for the rest of my life.
