Hi,

ok, I'm further now

I managed it, to get everything linked in the navi system. I can choose the links "Radars", can choose the area etc. and can click on search. But I always get the result, that nothing was found.

I used an ov2-file, converted it with the poiconverter to asc, and converted it with the perl script, which is on that co.uk homepage, to the url- and idx-files.

What's the problem here? Or can anyone send me a working asc-file, to see if anything got wrong with the poiconverter? That's the only reason I can think about...

See http://www.bmwnavaddpoi.co.uk/neroway.htm for a good walk-thru of what's involved to modify the DVD

I already know this address, but there isnt a solution why tmc doesnt work anymore and the thing with the graphics are missing from 2km on.

V26 upwards reduced the deatail at each map scale, probably because it supported perspective (although there was no option to enable it). When displaying POI there is a minimum distance between items that are displayed, the more you zoom in, the more items are displayed.

What colour is the TMC icon on the bottom line of your display? One time when I updated the nav software TMC was turned off, you have to re-enable it in the INFO menu.

If the TMC icon is red then, for some reason, the Nav computer does not think the disk has the TMC codes required for the UK.

Anyone has got a REAL solution? As my file-links were deleted by the admin I can show you how I changed the codes.

If someone really has any clue about editing the navi dvd, I can pm the download links.

You should press info while the radio is on and select the radio station that carries the TMC signals. See if that makes TMC go green.
